Join our Exciting new YOUTHSCAPE Programme to “Gain New Skills and Make New Friends”
What is the Youthscape Programme?
Youthscape is a cross community and cross border programme which is young people centred. The programme will focus on 3 key areas; Personal Development, Good Relations and Citizenship.
Youthscape stands for:
Youth Opportunities Unique Training Helping
Support Confidence Aspirations Peace 4 EVERYONE
Criteria:
- 14-24 years
- Not in full-time education, employment or training
- Ready to try something new
Benefits:

- Educational and Fun Day trips – North & South
- Fun activities and projects in the local community
Dates:
Programme delivery will run between February – May 2018 in Donegal Youth Service-Letterkenny/Ballybofey. Delivery will take place 3 days per week from 10am – 3pm.
*Please Note: There will be Initial Engagement before delivery commences and ongoing support after delivery ends.
The Programme will consist of:
Stage 1:
- Create a Personal Development Plan with 1 to 1 guidance and support
Stage 2:
- Gain OCN Level 1 Qualifications in:
- Personal Development – Exploring mental and physical health and well-being
- Good Relations – Respect for Diversity
- Active Citizenship Project – Team work skills in practice
- Good Relations trips – North & South
Stage 3:
- Support with implementing your Personal Development Plan
- Moving on and moving up
- Help to progress into further education, employment, volunteering, training or other pathways
