Donegal Youth Service seeks to appoint the following position:
Youth Worker 35 hours per week (4 months fixed term). The successful candidate will have responsibility for supporting young people, delivering the aims of the Project and will be expected to engage young people and adult volunteers that support them in a series of planned initiatives.
The post involves evening and weekend work.
The successful candidates will have a third level education standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline And a minimum of 1 year community youth work experience in the last 3 years
*OR*
A minimum of 3 years full time experience in Youth Work or Community Development in the last 8 years
Salary starts at point 1 on the Donegal Youth Service New Entrants Youth Worker scale which is €28657
A panel may be created from which future posts may be filled.
