Donegal Youth Service seeks to appoint the following position:
Specialist Support Mentor 35 hours per week (fixed term until Dec 2020). The successful candidate will have responsibility for supporting young people, delivering the aims of the Youthscape Project and will be expected to engage with young people not in education training or employment in a series of planned initiatives.
The post may involve evening and weekend work.
The successful candidates will have a third level education standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline And a minimum of 1year community youth work experience in the last 3 years
OR
A minimum of 3 years full time experience in Youth Work or Community Development in the last 8 years
Salary starts at point 3 on the Donegal Youth Service New Entrants Youth Worker scale which is €31,019.90.
A panel may be created from which future posts may be filled.
