The annual Trash ‘n’ Fashion event is almost upon us again. It’s a wonderful event where Donegal students create stunning avant-garde fashion out of trash.
It is a not-for-profit event, and this year they are looking for the public’s help in choosing a Donegal charity to receive the funds they raise.
We would be very grateful to be the chosen charity, so if you think Donegal Youth Service deserve it you can nominate us here: Click here to nominate a charity! Can you spare a moment to nominate Donegal Youth Service? 🙂
What do we do at Donegal Youth Service?
We support young people’s mental health with our Teen Talk one-to-one service, we have an LGBT group (BreakOUT), a programme for early and potential school leavers (Daybreak), a dedicated space for young people in The Loft and The Youth Information Centre, youth groups throughout the county, employment help, and personal development courses, and training to name just a few of the things we do!
Message from Trash N’ Fashion – you can find out more about this event on their Facebook page
“As you know Trash ‘N’ Fashion is a not for profit event and all money we make from it goes to charity. So this year we want suggestions from YOU as to which charity we should give the money to. As this involves the youth of the county it might go to a charity supporting our youth or it could go to a charity that supports all ages in the community but supported by Donegal youth.. so nominate a charity here please!”
