No Room for Doom and Gloom at the DYS Halloween Disco!

On the eve of the 25th of October DYS hosted a Spooktacular Halloween Disco in Doneyloop.

Four Finn Valley youth groups (Doneyloop, Castlefin, Planet Youth, and Raphoe Family Resource Centre) came to Doneyloop to Booooooo-gie to DJ Stephen’s killer-thriller tunes.

A night full of apple bobbing and ghoulish games ended in a disco dance off competition and the crowning of the King and Queen of Halloweeeen!
The Jack-O –Lantern Pumpkin full of sweets was up for grabs to the young person able to guess how many sweets were inside. Darren the lucky winner couldn’t believe his luck with his guess being the closest to 279 sweets!

Many thanks to Alison, John, Aisling and Pauric of Doneyloop for hosting the Halloween Disco, and a massive thanks to all the groups for attending and making it such a fun-tastic night. And finally, a special thanks to DJ Stephen who had us all bouncing and boogying until the last beat! We’re looking forward to next Halloween already!
