Mulroy College Transition Year Young Social Innovators (YSI) Raise Funds and Awareness for Donegal Young Carers

The Transition Year Young Carer YSI (Young Social Innovators) group at Mulroy College had a bake sale on the 5th of March to raise awareness of Young Carers. They hope to break the stigma around Young Carers and provide awareness within the school, local communities and even nationally.  They also took photos of students within a frame that reads “Young Carer Awareness” to raise awareness, in the school environment, of this issue.  Donegal Youth Service would like to say a huge thank you to the young people for choosing to support Donegal Young Carers.  They raised an incredible €445 for the project!  Well done to all of you.
