Level 5 Service Update

From midnight tonight the entire country will be placed on Level 5 of the Plan for Living with COVID-19. Donegal Youth Service are still permitted to provide some very limited face to face work in small groups. This is in line with the schools and the Department of Children and Youth Affairs Guidelines for Youth Work.

We will be offering a blended (face to face and online) service for the next 6 weeks during the Level 5 restrictions.

Service Changes

  • One to one appointments: One to one work can continue in person or remotely in consultation with the youth worker. If you are looking for one to one support please contact us.
  • Drop-in:Drop-in is cancelled but Youth Information will operate on an appointment basis from 4-6 Mon-Fri and
    Loft Letterkenny drop-in will continue on a pre-booking basis
  • Group work: Group work will continue in small groups (less than 6 persons) where possible and may also be combined with online work
  • Daybreak Programme: Daybreak will continue to operate in small groups (less than 6 persons)

We will continue to update our social media with all changes to our service.
