Donegal Youth Service are seeking to recruit the following positions

  • Full-time Project Officers x5 Our Generation                          3-year contract
    • (Positions available in Sligo, Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan, Louth)

Additional Positions (Donegal):

  • Full-time Youth Information Officer                                          Maternity Cover
  • Part-time Youth Information Development Officer             1-year contract
  • Part-time Youth Worker                                                                 1-year contract

Applicants must possess a 3rd Level education to degree standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline and a minimum of two year’s community youth work experience in the last 5 years or a minimum of 3 year’s full-time experience in Youth Work or Community development in the last 8yrs. Garda Vetting will apply and the work may involve evening and weekend work.

Can I do a Community Employment Scheme?

Applicants must be eligible – Typical eligibility is over 21 years old + 1 year unemployed/or another qualifying social welfare payment.  There are exceptions, so please contact your local Intreo office to find out if you are eligible.
