Our Generation programme staff includes a team of one manager, three youth workers and one part-time administrator.

This initiative is supported by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

The successful candidates will have the drive, ambition, ability and strategic vision to add value to this dynamic organisation.

Responsible to:   Our Generation Manager

Timescale:   Jan 2020 – Dec 2022

Location: 

  • 1 position based in Castleblayney to cover Cavan and Monaghan
  • 1 position based in Sligo to cover Sligo and Leitrim

Hours:   35 hours per week

Salary:   Donegal Youth Service Youth Worker point 4 €32,667

There are 3 Community Employment Scheme positions based in Letterkenny.

  1. Reception/Admin
  2. Youth Support Worker
  3. Assistant Youth Information Officer

Hours: 19.5 per week

Can I do a Community Employment Scheme?

Applicants must be eligible – Typical eligibility is over 21 years old + 1 year unemployed/or another qualifying social welfare payment.  There are exceptions, so please contact your local Intreo office to find out if you are eligible.
