Future Innovators is a cross-border Peace IV SEUPB funded project that is a partnership between Donegal Youth Service, Cooperation Ireland, Belfast Interface Project, Animorph and the University of Essex.
The aim of the project is to work with people in five Urban Village areas of Belfast and Derry and the community of Arranmore island and the greater Rosses area in County Donegal. We will be developing plans to strengthen and help secure the future of these local communities.
The Future Innovators project will look to address challenges within each of the communities by encouraging innovation and enterprise.
The project will work with young people, local residents and community groups in the six target areas. Using existing strengths and supporting social innovation to deal with local issues. Engagement with the communities throughout the course of the project will help the residents understand the benefits of shared decision making.
This project is funded by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
