The new PEACE IV grants ‘Arts4Youth’ project was launched on Tuesday, the 2nd of July in the Donegal Youth Service Headquarters in Letterkenny. This exciting new project will engage with young people from different backgrounds aged 14-17 throughout the county, who will co-design the creative arts based programme, which aims to increase understanding and respect for diversity, as well as strengthen cross-border and cross-community relations.

This project forms part of Donegal County Council’s €5.5m Local Authority Action Plan. This Action Plan is funded through the EU’s PEACE IV Programme, which is managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). Match-funding has been provided by the Executive Office in Northern Ireland and the Department of Rural and Community Development in Ireland.
