ALL WELCOME FOR POLISH CULTURE EVENING AT DONEGAL YOUTH SERVICE
All nationalities, and ages are invited to attend the Polish Culture Evening at Donegal Youth Service from 6-9pm on Friday the 14th of October. This social evening is just one of many events happening as part of Donegal County Council’s ‘One Donegal – Social Inclusion Week’ (7-15 October).
Come along and meet some of Letterkenny’s Polish Community. You can try some free Polish food, listen to some Polish music, and learn some Polish history. This is a great opportunity to meet other people of all nationalities in your community. This event aims to promote cultural diversity and display some aspects of Polish culture.
“We want to show you were we come from. We want to talk about the things we are proud of.” said Katarzyna Kurzeja, Assistant Youth Information Officer at Letterkenny Youth Information Centre. “We are planning to take you on a fantastic journey through the last three decades of Polish music. We want to teach you some Polish words and exchange positive vibes with you. We hope to inspire you.”
