About Us

This project is funded by the International Fund for Ireland under the Community Bridges Programme.

The project is based in Lifford Clonleigh Resource Centre and is managed by Donegal Youth Service, and is part of the Donegal Community Based Partnership.

Cross Border/Cross Community reconciliation will be central to the project to create opportunities for young people to deal with difference in a safe environment.

This project will target young people aged 8-25 yrs from border areas in Donegal, West Tyrone and Fermanagh and will explore diversity and equality in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The Key Aims

  • To encourage links between young people and workers on both sides of the border which will promote understanding of different cultures and traditions and to build a more inclusive society.
  • To deliver engaging programmes which provide opportunities to participate in group work, experimental learning initiatives which contribute to and promote mutual understanding.
  • Provide OCN accreditations and opportunities for international travel through wider horizons.
  • Promote diversity as a key component in an enriched community.
