Accredited Courses

The Youth Information Centre has a process whereby young people can register for a Personal Development Course, which leads on to Peer Leadership and then to Peer Education, all of which are OCN accredited. As a result of the relationships developed with these Peer Educators, many of them have acted as co-facilitators on other Personal Development courses, residentials and summer programmes etc.  The Peer Education course has been adapted to incorporate anti-bullying training and intercultural awareness training whereby groups of young people utilised their training in a local secondary schools working with first year students on respective training.  If you would like to get involved in one of these programmes contact us now in the Youth Information Centre on 074-9129640.
