Summer Programme Information Session
The LOFT Youth Project will hold an information and enrolment night for the summer programmes on Thursday the 24th of May.
Young people, their parents/guardians and those who work with young people and families are invited to call in to the LOFT Youth Project between 6pm and 8pm next Thursday. The evening will include information on programmes whihc have taken place during the spring term as well as a showcase of young people's work over the past few months.
Easter Activities
We have been reunited with our password so the lack of updates is now behind us. For now just a quick post with information on activities at the LOFT over Easter.
The LOFT will be closed on Good Friday and on Monday the 9th (Bank holiday), the project will open as normal on the other days. If you would like to get in touch with any of the staff or to access support please call in to the centre or email loftstaff@gmail.com

What's happening this term ?
The LOFT LK Youth Project and Health Cafe is located on the top floor of the old cinema building, 16-18 Port Road, Letterkenny. It is for all young people aged 12 to 18 to come in, make friends and get involved in activities and courses.
Culture Night 2011
Friday 23rd of September saw the LOFT host an evening of music as part of the very successful Culture Night. Performers included the multi-talented Gabriel Blake, singer extraordinaire Marli Kerr and local young band The Tendencies. The entertainment began early, with the first act on stage being Eilis Cusack, a fantastic young singer, whose magnificent voice was accompanied by guitarist Chris Toye.

Busy Spring Term
The spring term is flying by at the LOFT. The groups all proved popular with great work completed throughout. This terms groups have included HIFY, a youth art project, cookery skills, peer leadership, IYMA music group, young women's group, Real U programme, Leadership For Life, NFTE (entrepreneurship programme) and homework club. We have also been delivering the Preparing for Seconday programme alongside the Youth Information Centre, Donegal Travellers Project and Letterkenny Youth and Family Service.
